📚👤✨Opinion writing is when you share your thoughts, feelings, or ideas about something and explain why you think that way. It's like telling a friend what you like or don’t like, and giving reasons to back it up!
Opinion writing lets you:
Tell what you think or feel about something
Give reasons to support your opinion
Use words like “I think” or “I believe” to make it clear it's your opinion
Example:
I think cats make the best pets because they are cute and easy to take care of.
Notice how the sentence tells what the opinion is and why!
Try this with friends or in class!
Step 1: Read the statement
Step 2: Decide if you agree or disagree
